The OPPO Reno 15 5G is a mid-range smartphone with a premium look and powerful features, launched in the Indian market in November 2025. This phone is aimed at users who want a smartphone with a great camera, long battery life, and fast charging without paying a flagship price. Its 6.32-inch AMOLED display, 200MP camera, and 6200mAh battery are its key highlights. Its starting price in India is around ₹40,000, making it a strong competitor to the likes of the Vivo V40 and iQOO Neo.

Design

The phone’s design exudes a stylish and premium feel. Its compact size of 151.2 x 72.4 x 8mm and weight of 187 grams make it comfortable to hold. The glass front, aluminum frame, and glass back enhance its durability. The IP68/IP69 rating protects it from water and high-pressure water jets. Blue, Brown, and White color options enhance its appearance.

Display

The OPPO Reno 15 5G features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 3600 nits peak brightness. The screen appears clear and sharp even outdoors. The 1216 x 2640 resolution and 460ppi density ensure smooth video streaming and gaming. Reinforced glass protection and 3840Hz PWM dimming make it comfortable for the eyes.

Camera

The phone features a triple camera setup with a 200MP primary sensor (with OIS), a 50MP telephoto lens (3.5x zoom), and a 50MP ultrawide lens. It is capable of recording 4K@60fps video. The 50MP ultrawide front camera comes with HDR and gyro-EIS support, perfect for stunning selfies and social media content. The camera performs particularly impressively in low light.

The 12GB/256GB variant starts at ₹39,990. Considering the price and features, it’s a very attractive option in the mid-range budget. If your priorities are camera, display, and battery, this phone is a great buy. However, the lack of a 3.5mm jack and radio may disappoint some users.
