The Mystique Blue variant of the Redmi Note 12 5G is available in the market with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor and was the first phone in India to combine a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and this new chipset. Its price even today remains around ₹12,990, offering excellent value in the budget segment.

Redmi Note 12 5G Mystique Blue: Its premium Mystique Blue matte finish gives it a stylish and modern look. Weighing just 188 grams and 7.98mm thick, the phone feels light and comfortable in the hand. This model easily meets the needs of budget users with its display, performance, and features.

Design & Display

The phone features a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. With Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 1200 nits of peak brightness, this display provides clear visibility even in sunlight.

A 4,500,000:1 contrast ratio and SGS eye-protection certification ensure comfortable long-term use.

The smoothness of 120Hz during gaming and video streaming puts it far ahead of phones with 60Hz displays.

Performance

The phone comes with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 octa-core processor (2x Cortex-A78 @ 2.0GHz + 6x A55 @ 1.8GHz) and an Adreno 619 GPU. The 4GB of RAM, along with support for 3GB of virtual RAM, makes multitasking smoother.

Games like PUBG run at up to 60FPS on HD settings, and the phone doesn’t overheat.

UFS 2.2 storage and up to 1TB microSD card support make app loading fast and day-to-day use even better.

Camera

The phone features a 48MP AI triple camera setup—including an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens. AI features like Night Mode, HDR, and Portrait Mode further improve photo quality.

On the front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera, which delivers decent results for video calls and selfies.

The camera performs quite well in daylight, although quality drops slightly when zooming. Portrait Mode is considered the best in a budget smartphone, according to users.

Battery

The large 5000mAh battery can last up to 2.5 days with moderate use. It can be charged up to 50% in about 30 minutes with 33W fast charging.

According to the company, this phone can provide 34 hours of calling, 14 hours of gaming, and 21 hours of YouTube playback.

The IP53 rating provides water and dust protection.

Price & Value for Money

The Redmi Note 12 5G Mystique Blue (4GB/128GB) is priced at approximately ₹12,990 in India, and EMI options are also available. This phone comes with Android 12 on MIUI 13 and will receive two OS updates and four years of security patches.

It has slightly lower RAM and clock speeds than models like the POCO X5, but its 5G dual SIM, IR blaster, and strong display make it very attractive.

If your budget is up to ₹15,000, this is still a great option.
